we learn that the Youngers would love to live in a better place, but with the society they struggle with poverty |

the house is small, worn down, non spacious shack! we can also imagine that the room is kinda dark and cluttered with too many belongings from mama. |

the Youngers have trouble living together and respecting each other. they all want to live somewhere else |
